How to make payments using instant EFT and PayFast

In the past we have accepted cash deposits into our bank account for hosting payments. But unfortunately we pay a bank charge/fee for cash deposits made into our bank account.

For example, if you make a cash deposit of R100, we pay a bank charge of R43. So we only receive half the payment.

We have started to accept online payments via PayFast. PayFast is a secure online payment processor and we now accept the following methods of payment:

  • EFT
You can pay your invoices using normal EFT from any bank to our FNB account. But you ALWAYS have to email us a proof of payment for to allocate the payment to your invoice. There can sometimes be a delay in this process as we only allocate the payment when we receive the email with proof of payment. The money will also only reflect in our account the next day when it’s from another bank.
  • Instant EFT (Recommended option)
Instant EFT works exactly the same as EFT but:

    • You don’t need to send us a proof of payment
    • Because we use PayFast, you can now make payments straight into ABSA, Standard Bank, FNB and Nedbank bank accounts. Which means your payment will reflect immediately and because you pay the invoice online, you don’t need to send us a proof of payment.

  • Credit Card
Credit card payments are the fastest and most hassle free way to make payments. When you view your invoice, change your payment method to EFT/Credit card and click on the pay now button. You will be redirected to the PayFast website where you can choose to pay with your credit card. The payment will reflect immediately.
  • PayPal
In order to make PayPal payments, you will need a PayPal account. When you open the invoice, change the payment method to PayPal. You will then see a PayPal checkout button which will redirect you to the PayPal website where you can log in and make a payment.

How do I pay using Instant EFT or Credit Card?

When you receive your invoice via email, there will be a link in the email that opens in the invoice in your browser. The link will look something like this:

The number at the end of that link is your invoice number that you are paying. When you open the link, you will be requested to log into your account using your client area login details.

Once you’re logged in, in the top right corner you can choose your payment method and change it between EFT, Instant EFT, Credit Card and PayPal.

Payment Option

Once you have chosen Credit Card/Instant EFT, click the button below it that says “Pay Now”.

On the next screen you will see three payment options. Credit Card, Instant EFT and Bitcoin. Choose Instant EFT.

Payment Option Two

New options will display. Select your bank where you will be making the payment from.

Choose your bank

On the next screen you will see instructions and details for a recipient. Create a recipient using the details that you see. NB! Please note the unique reference number that will be assigned to you.

Make your invoice payment to the recipient that you’ve created and click the “Complete” button. Wait a few seconds and voila! Your payment will be picked up instantly and you don’t need to worry about sending us a proof of payment.
